Wild at heart
This mini abstract painting is inspired by the coastline where I live in Brighton.
The art is painted with layers of acrylic paint and ink in shades of blue and muted turquoise. Textures and splashes are used to capture the energy of the waves and the sea. The words ‘wild at heart’ are inked onto the painting.
The painting continues around the edges of the deep canvas. It is finished with a satin varnish that enhances and protects the colours. It perfect for a wall collection, desk or shelf and is a lovely way to start collecting original art.

Wild at Heart is the last of a small series with a splashy, loose feel inspired by the wilder beach weather scenes.

These minis are not perfectly square due to the canvas manufacturing process. While I have made small adjustments before painting, the measurements are approximate.
