Whisper – greens
This original monoprint is inspired by the small moments we all need.
Taking a pause to listen to nature, to hear the trees, or even just our own breath, can help us step out of our busy or anxious minds. This series is full of reminders to take a moment. It was created as I considered the ways that art can support us in difficult times.
The art is an original monoprint created with fluid acrylic paint on a gel plate. I use a variety of tools, brayers and stencils to blend layers of colour on the plate. This piece has been ghost printed with die cut lettering and hand made stamps, used in reverse, to add text to the layers.
This original painting is printed onto smooth paper and professionally mounted in a white mat with backing board. This item is sold FRAMED.
