Brunswick View
This abstract landscape painting captures the heat of late summer sunsets in Brighton and Hove.
Acrylic paint and transparent inks in yellows, orange and magenta are layered up with loose line work to create an abstract art.
The Warm Sunsets art series is inspired by evening walks to and from the beach in my home city of Brighton. Remember hot pavements and the lowering sun reflecting off the sea and glowing on the buildings.
This painting continues around the edges of the deep canvas. “Brunswick view” can be displayed free-standing but is ready to hang. This piece will work well in a wall collection or on a shelf. It is protected with a satin varnish that enhances the colours.
