The long view

This mini abstract landscape is inspired by the coast where I live in Brighton.

The art is painted with layers of acrylic paint in muted blues and turquoise. Swirls and gentle marks are used to show the warm breezes and calm seas. The gulls are painted high up, gliding in the wind.

This mini art is calm and soothing, capturing the mood of warm and peaceful walk at the shoreline.

The painting continues around the edges of the canvas and is finished with a UV satin varnish that enhances and protects the colours. These minis are perfect for a small art display, desk or shelf and are a lovely way to start collecting original art.

  • Acrylic paint and inks on a deep-edge canvas
  • Approximately 10cm x 10cm
  • Signed on the back
  • Satin varnish with UV protection
  • No framing is needed
  • A brass sawtooth picture hanger is attached

*Display away from direct sunlight. This will help to keep the colours bright and vibrant. I have done my best to represent the colours accurately but there may be differences on your device or screen. If you have any questions please get in touch.

These canvases are not perfectly square due to the manufacturing process. While I have made small adjustments before painting, the measurements are approximate.
