Payments
Payments are taken through PayPal or Stripe (in WooCommerce) in British Pounds Sterling. You can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card and do not need an account. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details. You do not need an account with Kore Sage Art to purchase.
Items placed in the shopping basket will be held for 2 hours. If you have not purchased before the 2 hours is up, the item will be removed from your basket.
Shipping and Delivery
Can you ship internationally?
Yes, although currently the online shop is set up for UK customers only. If you are outside of the UK and would like to purchase a painting please email me for a shipping quote info[@]koresageart.com. Let me know which piece you like and your location and I’ll let you know the options.
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Shipping to the EU
The shop does not currently allow for purchases to the EU. But if you have seen something you love please email me and we can discuss postage costs. Please be aware that currently EU customers are charged VAT by the courier on delivery.
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Items will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Items are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on the size and weight. I am based in Brighton, UK and most UK deliveries arrive 3-4 days from the time of shipping. Please allow 10 working days in total as many services are experiencing delays. If you have a special requirement regarding shipping times, tracking or international delivery please contact me at info[@]koresageart.com before purchase.
Is shipping included?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Postage and packaging costs have risen in recent months and this has restricted my capacity to offer free shipping.
Items on paper to UK addresses may be offered with shipping included.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees. I review shipping and packaging costs regularly.
Can you ship an item as a gift?
Yes absolutely. I’m happy to wrap and pack an item as a gift along with a handwritten note with your message. Gift wrapping is done with white acid-free tissue and blue/white twine and gift notes and tags are written on hand painted card. Please contact me by email info[@]koresageart.com to confirm the item, shipping address, personal note and your requirements so we can put together something special. Please note, shipping times have been unpredictable or slow in recent months so allow plenty of time for your order to be processed and delivered.
Is your packaging recyclable?
I use recyclable, compostable or reused packaging if necessary. Flat items are shipped in recyclable card backed envelopes. Small items such as canvases are packaged in compostable, reusable padded envelopes. I use recycled, acid free tissue wrap and cotton twine to wrap smaller items.
Larger paintings or fragile items require more packaging and I will choose this depending on the item. If padding is required I reuse previously sent packaging, sometimes this includes bubble wrap if necessary. I do not buy any new plastic packaging for packaging sales.
