Easy Structure paste techniques

I use Easy Structure to introduce a range of texture techniques into my mixed media art. Easy Structure is a heavy paste that sets hard and can even hold embellishments or other textures. With Easy Structure, make hard wearing layers that don’t peel off and can be given some heavy mixed media treatment.

Powertex Easy Texture techniques

I’m introducing some of my techniques in this blog but here’s a quick demo. I use Easy Structure with Powercolor small 3d texture balls and palette knives.

This is just a glimpse of some of the ways I use Easy Structure paste although almost all of my textured art has it.

Create some abstract textures or backgrounds for your mixed media art and try some of these ideas. If you are new to Powertex take a look at my blogs for beginners to get you started.

Easy Structure is just one of many texture products I use and my new pdf download describes how I achieve different effects. This eBook is a guide to my favourite techniques and tools so take a look if you’d like to get more out of your Easy Structure paste! (This download also includes a bonus guide to how I make my Rusty Powder fluid paint!). Take a look in my Etsy shop.

As a Powertex tutor in the UK, I get my supplies from Powertex UK.
